The Art 24mm f/1.4 is a large aperture wide angle lens that can deliver high level artistic expression. Sigma claim the lens has the highest optical performance in tis class, and achieves astonishing rendering performance even in the corners with ultra-high resolution. It will be available in Sigma, Canon and Nikon mounts.

The lens also has excellent correction of sagittal coma flare, with an optimized power layout positioning aspherical lens elements at the rear and adjusting the incidence angle of the light source, enabling high rendering performance even from the widest aperture. Sigma say this makes it perfect for astronomical photography and shooting illuminations.

There is also excellent correction of chromatic aberration, minimised distortion, high peripheral brightness along with a design that minimises flare and ghosting.

The Contemporary 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM is a lightweight hyper telephoto zoom lens featuring high usability and outstanding optical performance. It will be available in Sigma, Canon and Nikon mounts.

The lens has a special emphasis on its optical performance by incorporation of 1 FLD and 3 SLD glass elements, optimization of lens power distribution and minimized chromatic aberration of magnification. An issue for hyper-telephoto lenses in particular at the telephoto end, optical aberrations have been minimized throughout the zoom range. Dust and splash-proof to facilitate photography in the field and featuring a detachable tripod socket for more convenient handheld photography, this lens is a lightweight high-performance model.

The 150-600mm also has Intelligent OS, featuring an acceleration sensor to ensure high precision. 2 OS modes are available: Mode 1 for general photography and Mode 2 for motor sports and other applications requiring panning. In Mode 2, the acceleration sensor teams up with the Intelligent OS and its updated stabilization algorithm to deliver effective stabilization while you move the camera horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—regardless of the position of the lens. This feature helps ensure effective panning and outstanding capture of moving subjects. There is also quieter and faster Optimised AF.

It also features a zoom lock that can be set at any focal length, allowing stable shooting when the lens is positioned upwards or downwards. There is also a weter and oil repellent coating on the front of the lens allowing water to be wiped away easily and prevents oil and fat from sticking to the surface.
